Journey into the Use of IMDG to Strengthen the Electronic Banking Offering of ING. BE

The presentation will explain how GridGain IMDG is considered fit for purpose to increase the scalability and availability of the electronic banking offerings. The goal is to share experiences on how this technology fits into the technical landscape and which integration patterns are being tested and deployed.

Target audience engineers and architects thinking on using the same technology in similar patterns. Also technology providers to have feedback from the trenches.

The technology is fitted into an overall micro-service architecture evolution that uses other components like elasticsearch, kafka , cassandra and REST API's.

It explains the the overall concept of the Shield-ING project that intends to shield legacy applications and investments of the quick moving evolution on the direct banking paradigm. 

It presents also the platform extensions that were needed to fit this into the overall ING monitoring and management landscape
